When this client wanted to grow its store traffic and sales, I realized that what was missing from their marketing and advertising was a brand story. They needed to go beyond being known for fabrics and tell people about the “four legs” of their business, namely fabrics, window treatments, upholstery and furniture. So I recommended adding those categories underneath their logo while creating a more compelling brand story about home fashion and value with the slogan “Dress Your Home for Less,” then communicating that across multiple channels including digital, eblasts, in-store posters, direct mail, television and radio.
