Michaels

When I got a project from Michaels, the assignment was to find a unique way to announce their Grand Opening in Dallas. First, the spot had to resonate with women — their core customer. Secondly, it had to convey the vast merchandise assortment and the great “big box” pricing that Michaels was famous for. Lastly, the radio advertising production had to urge people to attend the Grand Opening event. So I invented two sisters who were absolutely “in love” with Michaels. Except they were each keeping the Grand Opening Sale to themselves. One thing I can’t keep from you. Yours truly voiced the announcer section in the spot.
