Offerdahl’s was originally known by many as a bagel and breakfast place. But when the restaurant concept was changed to Offerdahl’s Grill/Cafes serving quick-casual breakfast, lunch and dinner, a new repositioning campaign was needed. As a freelance creative director and senior copywriter at Mad 4 Marketing, I led the design team in re-branding Offerdahl’s with the new theme: “What’s on your plate today?” I wrote and co-designed a new website emphasizing the 3 day parts, plus in-store posters and window signs, new menu boards, table tents and an e-blast program. The result? With no direct mail advertising, no outdoor advertising, no print ads and no television creative, same-store sales increased by a remarkable 11% in just 3 short months!
