To a discerning developer like Joel Altman, stylish design and exceptional copywriting are critical components of branding and marketing. So when I was brought on as a freelance copywriter and creative director by Mad 4 Marketing who was handling the account, Mr. Altman made it clear that his consumer sales brochure was to be the premiere selling piece for Altis, a mid-rise residential community that was to become a template for similar communities scheduled for rollout across the country in the coming decade. In addition to writing the tag lines and body copy for the piece, I served as the creative director/copywriter to help marry the client’s vision for this new rental community concept by combining a lifestyle approach to the amenities package.
